There was a time when Dog Agility was Dog Sports. When, essentially, fanatics did Dog Agility and everyone else simply walked their dogs. Not any more, I’m delighted to say.
Today, the list of Dog Sports is increasing all the time, as dog owners find new ways to have fun that involves their dog, providing both parties with mental and physical stimulation and improving the bond between the two.

Also known as Dachshund Racing, Wiener Dog Racing is a popular though controversial Dog Sport, primarily contested in North America. (Continued HERE).
I know what you’re thinking. Someone’s made a typo. Muskrat Racing? Muskrats are medium-sized semi-aquatic rodents native to North America. How on earth are most people even going to find a Muskrat, let alone race one? (Continued HERE).
Dock Jumping (also known as Dock Diving) is a Dog Sport which first made an appearance in the 1997 Incredible Dog Challenge, an event sponsored by a well known dog food manufacturer to prove how athletic dogs really are. (Continued HERE).
Also known as Slalom Racing, Weave Pole Racing is an element of Dog Agility taken to a whole new level. In this sport, dogs have up to 60 vertical poles to negotiate (weave in and out of). More (HERE)
